Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones has been an actress since she was twelve, has been featured in various TV series and movies. Her career began with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. The next television series she appeared in is The Worst Witch. She also played Ethel Hallow on the follow-up Weirdsisters College. She also played Young Ruth in her first movie Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in a variety of films. The actress gained acclaim for her performance in films including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' which earned her the Oscar nomination the first time. It was a biopic based on the personal life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was widely praised by audiences and critics for her impeccable portrayal of Hawking's first wife. Inferno the film, which was a Tom Hanks thriller was her following role. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her extraordinary talent and work in the field of cinema.
